Sansevieria Laurentii
Sansevieria Laurentii
The Snake Plant Laurentii, or Sansevieria trifasciata 'Laurentii', is a succulent plant characterized by its upright sword-like leaves with vibrant yellow edges. It is popular for its incredibly easy-going nature (it can tolerate low light and drought) and its air-purifying capabilities. The easiest way to kill this plant is to overcare for it.
Light: Mother-in-Law’s Tongue can handle a wide range of light levels. It survives in low light conditions, but the plant prefers the steady, indirect bright light of a sunny window with occasional direct sunlight. If necessary, this indoor plant will adapt to a full sun setting.
Watering: Sansevieria plants prefer well-drained soil. The soil should drain entirely between waterings. When you are watering, you should water deeply. To do this, water until water drips through the drainage hole on the bottom of your pot. Sansevieria is a succulent, so it stores water within its leaves. For that reason, it does not need as much water as you may think it does. It will develop root rot quite quickly if you over water it.
