Hoya 'Krimson Queen'

nown commonly as Waxvine or Waxflower, this popular and easy-going Hoya has long climbing stems and broad glossy leaves. The flowers are white to pink and produce a strong, pleasantly spicy fragrance. Krimson Queen Hoya are characterized by the white edges and green centers of the leaves.  The leaves of a Krimson Queen do vary in shape and amount of white margin, mainly due to light received during growing and the characteristics of the mother plant the cuttings were taken from.  

Light: They enjoy strong indirect light: leaves in brighter conditions take on a gold tint. The foliage darkens in a lower-light setting.

Watering: Let excess water run through the soil at watering time. This fully saturates the soil and helps flush out residual fertilizer and other contaminants.
