Philodendron ‘McColley’s Finale’

Philodendron ‘McColley’s Finale’ is a wonderful upright, tropical, clumping, evergreen with leaves that emerge reddish-orange, changing to bronze and eventually maturing to a deep, glossy green. The stacks of leaves with varying colors make it an amazing accent piece.

Makes a great houseplant! Best grown in fertile, organic, acidic soil that is moist but never waterlogged. Allow the soil to mostly dry out between waterings. Fertilize monthly, more frequently in containers, and water regularly. Philodendron prefer bright, indoor light but do not take well to direct sunlight. Protect from freezing temperatures!

Light:  Medium to bright indirect sunlight is best, they do well with plenty of light, but can be a bit further back from the window too. No direct sun though.

Watering: Check the plant weekly, and water it if top half of the soil is already dry. Do not water it if it is still mainly wet.
